🚨 Electricity Prices Are Rising from 1 July 2025 🚨

The AER has approved new Default Market Offer (DMO) rates, and that means price hikes are kicking in for both Residential and Small Business customers:

📍 NSW: +8.3% to 9.7% (e.g. Essential Energy customers may see bills rise from $2,513 to $2,741)

📍 SEQ: +0.5% to 3.7%

📍 SA: +2.3% to 3.2%

These increases are due to rising wholesale energy costs, network charges, and retail expenses.

⚠️ If you’re not monitoring your energy plan, you could be moved to a standard (more expensive) tariff.
